WILLISTON, INA - 1929-2012 - Ina Williston passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at the Leaside Grove Special Care Home, in Miramichi Bay, at the age of 83. Born in Douglastown on March 13, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Annie (Jessiman) Williston. Ina was an employee for NBTel and loved her family very much. She will be sadly missed by her two brothers Harold (Rita) of Salmon Arm, BC, and Reggie (Alice) of Kelowna, BC; two sister-in-laws Pearl Williston of Miramichi, and Esther Austen of Arizona; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers Ray, Charlie, Morton, and Cameron, and two sister-in-laws Esther and Helen.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Saturday, May 12, 2012, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2012, at 2 pm, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place following the funeral in St Mark’s United Church Cemetery. As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.
