GALLANT, LOUISA - 1955 – 2012 - Louisa Gallant, 57 of Cocagne passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital University Centre, Moncton, on Thursday, May 10th, 2012. She was married to Gerard Gallant. Born in Bouctouche on April 30th, 1955 she was the daughter of Edgar Cormier of Bouctouche and the late Léona (Cormier) Cormier. Louisa was employed for over 30 yrs with the Caisse Populaire Kent-Sud, of Cocagne. She will be sadly missed by her father, her husband Gerard, her three children; Nadine Allain (Fernand), Réjean (Josée) of Bouctouche, Jean-Marc (Jenny) of Cocagne, four grandchildren; Jonathan, Jacob, Kaleb, Malek. She also leaves to mourn her sister Lucie Légere (Charles) and four brothers, Léo (Maureen), Maurice (Annette), Willie (Annette), and Edgar Jr. (Cathy) of Bouctouche, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother Edmond.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église, Bouctouche on Sunday May 13th, 2012 from 7 to 9 and on Monday from 2 to 4. Funeral Mass will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church, Cocagne on Monday, May 14th, 2012 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery. In Louisa’s memory donations can be made to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation.
