MESSER, LOTTIE MARGUERITE - Lottie M. Messer of Harvey Station, NB passed away May 16, 2012 at Wauklehegan Manor. Born at Fredericton, NB in 1908, she was a daughter of the late LeBaron and Margaret (Briggs) Little. Lottie worked from 1939 to 1969 at Harvey Creamery, retiring as office manager. Lottie is survived by a son, Royden Messer (Helen), Harvey Station, NB; a daughter-in-law, Frances (Bunny) Messer, Fredericton Junction, NB; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Myrtle Little; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Glenwood Messer in 1938; a daughter, Irene Swan; a son, Herbert Messer; two sisters, Rosella Little and Jessie Little; two brothers, Charles Little and Fred Little; a grandson, Beverly Cecil Swan and a great grandson, Matthew Spencer Swan.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Harvey, NB on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Interment at Harvey Settlement Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church fellowship room. Active pallbearers will be nephews, Dr. Kenneth Little, Carmen Little, Ross Little, Arnold Vail, Duane Messer and Cyril Messer. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews, Lawrence Little, Lester Little, Byron Messer and Garnet Messer.
