OLSEN, OSCAR JAMES “TED” - Ted Olsen passed away peacefully at Coulton’s Special Care Home on May 19, 2012. Born 1928 in Middle Sackville he was the son of the late Ole Emile Olsen and Effie Wambolt. Ted was loved by all who knew him. He had a great love for animals and loved to sing and yodel. He sang at many of the Karaoke hotspots, he was known as Karaoke Ted. He especially enjoyed his time at Coulton’s Special Care Home. Ted is survived by son David Boudreau (Debbie) of Grand Bay Westfield; step-daughter Carol Kasidonis (Spyros) of Quispamsis; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by wife Mary Gladys Boudreau; son Walter Boudreau; brothers Reg Olsen and Henry Olsen; sister Shirley Walker; nephews Harold and Darryl.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday, May 22nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will take place at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. followed by an interment at Fernhill Cemetery.
