CHAPMAN On Saturday, January 5, 2008 Thelma Naomi Eliza Chapman passed away peacefully in Kamloops at the age of 97 years. She is lovingly remembered by seven nieces, Laura Warne of Edmonton, Alberta, Beverly Campbell of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Margo Cochrane of Kamloops, Susan Clark of Bassano, Alberta, Karen Bellamy of Dapp, Alberta, Ewena Krawchuk of Chase, B.C. and Naomi Pickrem of Kamloops and many great nieces and great nephews. Thelma was predeceased by her husband Bertram on October 15, 1979 and her two brothers Beverley Kenward in January 1974 and Gordon Kenward in March 1983. Thelma was raised in Kamloops and worked at Inland Builders for 20 years. Then she moved with her husband, Bertram to various places with the CPR. They retired to Nanaimo where they spent many years. Her last eight years were spent in Vernon and later at Overlander Extended Care, Kamloops until her death. She was greatly loved by her nieces and their families. A tribute to Thelma will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. in the gathering place at 360 Battle Street. Interment will be held at a later date in the family plot at Bowern Cemetery, Nanaimo, B.C.
