MOCHIZUKI On Saturday, January 5, 2008 Mrs. Alice Mochizuki passed away peacefully at Royal Inland Hospital at the age of 69 years. She is survived by her loving husband Kiyo, her daughter Shirley McBride of Calgary, Alberta and her two sons Rod (Kathy) of Courtenay, B.C. and Merv (Evelyn) of Kamloops, B.C. and her eight grandchildren Alyssa, Jonathan, Colten, Julie, Michael, Sara, Joel and Lori. Also left to cherish her memory are her brother Henry (Misa), two sisters Elsie (Joe) and Misako and sister in law Autsko. Alice was predeceased by her brother Joe Mori in 1997 and her mother and father. Alice was born November 26, 1938 in Tofino, B.C., and moved to the Kamloops area in 1949. She married Kiyo Mochizuki in November 1959 and together they moved to 70 Mile House where they raised three kids. They moved back to Kamloops in 1973. After the three kids graduated, Alice perused different arts and crafts and went back to college. Alice's interests included joining the Happy Choristers, the Evangelical Free Church and the Star Crafters. A Celebration of Alice's life will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Free Church, 1132 - 8th Street, North Kamloops with Pastor Rob Cave officiating.
