The death occurred at the Halifax Infirmary, Halifax, N.S., on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, of James Francis "Frank" Gallant, of Rocky Point, aged 62 years. Born in Duvar, he was the son of Phoebe (Gallant) Gallant, Summerside, and the late John J. Gallant. Survived by his wife Susan (Smith) Gallant; children Wade, Glace Bay, N.S.; Angela Angot, Brookside, N.S.; Richard (Barbara), Glace Bay, N.S.; Laurie (Troy) Currie, Glace Bay, N.S.; grandchildren Tyler, Erin, Jenelle and Brianna Gallant; Marissa Angot; Kyla, Ashley, Laureen and Troy Currie; great-granddaughter Kearah; brothers and sisters Ivan (Shirley), Rocky Point; Louis (Janet), Chelton; Blair (Olivine), Summerside; Myrna McNally, Coleman; Wayne (Sherry), Summerside; Peter (Darlene), Calgary; Janet (Jerry) Tourout, Calgary; Catherine (Bob) Graham, Summerside; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Karen Gallant. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. No visiting hours by personal request.
