The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, Sunday, May 20, 2012, with her family by her side, of Mary Myrtle McCormack, daughter of Joe and Irene McCormack of New Zealand, in her 61st year.
Left to mourn are her sisters and one brother, Joanne (Billy Jennings), Helen Clinton, Doris (David Cheverie), Dena (Barry Farrell), Tommy (Myrtle); sister-in-law Molly McCormack; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; special caregivers Judy and Brian Stewart. Predeceased by father Joe, brother Joseph and brother-in-law Gerald Clinton.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday morning, May 23, 2012, 9:30 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral to be held on Wednesday morning to St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Souris for funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Alexis Cemetery in Rollo Bay.
