MATCHETT, VIVIAN MARGUERITE - Vivian M. Matchett of Millville, NB, passed away May 21, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was born at Millville, NB in 1926, a daughter of the late Hazen and Jean (Allen) Hull. Vivian was solitary, quiet homemaker and loved her garden and flowers. She is survived by her children, Brian (Marie) Matchett, Fredericton, NB, Joan Bird (Ron), Burtt’s Corner, NB, Larry (Nancy) Matchett, Nackawic, NB; her grandchildren, Scott Jones, Lisa Brewer (Trent), Jeff Matchett (Stephanie), Ricky (Michelle) and Chris (Krissy) Matchett; and eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Sheila Howard (Leigh); one brother, Marcus Hull (Mary); sister in law, Thelma Hull; brother in law, Joseph Drolet; sisters in law, Minnie Baisley (Alton), Shirley Mullen; brothers in law, Bill Matchett and Merv (Dianne) Matchett and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Vivian was predeceased by her husband, Clinton Matchett in 1998; an infant great grandson, Clinton David; two sisters Myrtle Drolet and Katherinie Ciupuszuk and three brothers, Gordon, Clinton and Kenneth Hull.
Visitation will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB, on Thursday, May 24, 2012, from twelve noon until 2 pm when service will be held with Rev. Wayne Blinn officiating. Interment will take place at the Hawkins Corner Cemetery. A reception will follow in the fellowship room of the Millville Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Scott Jones, Lisa Brewer, Jeff Matchett, Chris Matchett, nephew, Gary Hull and friend and caregiver, Diane Doucette.
