FLIN VALERIE HELENE GRACE SUSANNAH 22 DECEMBER 1915- 10 JANUARY 2008 Mum passed away peacefully in her sleep at Overlander Extended Care Hospital. She is survived by her daughter Tina Cole of Kamloops, Grandsons David (Tracy), of Pitt Meadows, Micheal and Stephen of Kamloops. She was predeceased by her husband Reg in 1995, Son-in-law Alan in 2007 and her brothers Fred and Harold. Val was born in London E10, emigrated to Canada and Kamloops in 1967. Val gave much of her time volunteering with RIH Afternoon Auxiliary. She had been president and secretary, as well as working in all the different departments. She also belonged to the Rebekahs and the Overlanders Women's Institute until ill health stopped her. The family would like to thank all of her caregivers in both Orchard Grove and South Park at Overlander for their compassionate care of her. Should friends desire, donations to the Kamloops SPCA. There will be no funeral by request, but a memorial tea will be held in the Spring, date and time to yet be determined. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Kamloops Funeral Home. 554-2577
