
Oscar Breau
BREAU, OSCAR - Oscar Breau, 65, of Portage, passed away on Monday May 21, 2012 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born on May 23, 1946 in Dieppe, he was the son of the late Alderic and Rita (Thériault) Breau. Before his retirement, Oscar worked for the Department of Transport in Cap-Pelé for 35 years. He was an avid hunter and gardener, but most of all he enjoyed his family pool and a good prank. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gisèle (Léger); three children: Oscar Jr. (Denise), Pauline (Stéphane Cormier) and Yolande (James Inman) all of Moncton; 13 brothers and sisters: Jeannette, Roger, Linda, Donald, Reginald, Yolande, Rachelle, Omer, Gérald, Andy, Donat, Emerise and Maurice; one grand-daughter, Cynthia; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Francis Gould.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 2642 Acadie Street, Cap-Pelé (577-3297) Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste. Thérèse d’Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé, on Friday May 25, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. In memory of Oscar, a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New-Brunswick or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
