It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Gillard Woodman announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his two sons: Reginald of Corner Brook and Peter of Edmonton, AB; his two grandchildren: Dean Woodman and Sarah Woodman, both of Calgary; his sisters: Ina (Roy) Snelgrove of Deer Lake, Edna (Jack) Faulkner of Gander and Marina (Olav) Johannesson of Hubley, NS; brother, Wayne (Jill) Woodman of Wolfville, NS. George was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Ella Woodman. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, on Saturday, December 26th, 2009 from the hours of 2–4 p.m., from where also a memorial service will take place on Sunday, December 27th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., Rev.
