DUREPOS, DAWN MARIE (nee: LACKIE) - After a brave and courageous battle with cancer, Dawn Marie Durepos (nee: Lackie) passed away at her home in New Maryland, NB on Wednesday May 23, 2012. Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Bruce Lackie and Louise (Baxter) Lackie. Dawn enjoyed scrapbooking, was an avid card player and loved spending time with her children. She is survived by her husband Jeffrey Durepos; sons Scott and Carson Durepos; mother Louise (Baxter) Lackie; sisters Shelley Craig (Chris) and Charlene Vallance (Michael); grandmother Myrtle Baxter; grandfather Charles Lackie; nieces Kaitlan Craig, Nicole Craig, Sarah Vallance; nephews Michael and Mathew Vallance; father-in-law Mitch Durepos; mother-in-law Ada Durepos; sister-in-law Monique Meighan (Curtis); several uncles, aunts and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Bruce Lackie; grandfather Leonard Baxter; grandmother Ella Mae Lackie.
The family will receive condolences at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 2:30 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday May 28, 2012 at 2 pm at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Nasonworth, NB with Rev. Bruce McKenna officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to the Extra Mural Hospital or a charity of the donor’s choice.
