Born in Sea View on Aug. 24, 1922, the last surviving member of the late Atwood and Mary Jane (Adams) Blakeney family. Wife of the late Judson J. MacLean. Mother of Bill (Myra) MacLean, Wilmot Valley and Malcolm (Mack) (Sandra) MacLean, Kensington. Grandmother of Matthew and Justin MacLean and Tammy Lee (Nelson) Cornell. Grandmother-in-law of Michelle MacLean. Great grandmother of Logan MacLean, Emma Cornell, Denton and Gillian MacLean. Sister-in-law of Velma Blakeney (Walter Snelgrove). Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by grandson Trevor MacLean, brothers William (Bill), Harris and Claude Blakeney, and Robert Hunter, sisters Marjorie MacMurdo- MacKay, Dolly Wigmore, Margaret Cousins, Mildred Matthews, Katherine Gallant and Lois Mountain. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, where members of the Lt. Col. E.W. Johnstone Br. No. 9 Kensington Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary will hold a service of remembrance Thursday at 6:15 p.m., followed by visitation from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in People's Cemetery Kensington.
