ROBICHAUD, ALFRED - 1927-2012 - Alfred Robichaud of Residence au Benaise, Saint-Antoine and formerly of Renauds Mill passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at the Dr Georges L Dumont University Centre Hospital, on Thursday, May 24th, 2012 at the age of 84. He was married to Andréa (Bastarache) Robichaud. Born in Saint-Antoine on July 16, 1927 he was the son of the late Francois and the late Cécile (Breau) Robichaud. Alfred worked for many years for the construction companies, Modern and Monarch. He will be sadly missed by his wife Andréa, his son Léo (Pauline) of Saint-Antoine, his brother Ernest (Susan) of Saint-Antoine, his granddaughters Nicole and Mélanie and several nieces and nephews. Alfred was predeceased by five sisters: Hélène, Marguerite, Eva, Ida and Flora and two brothers: Fabien and Francois.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 2 to 4 and from 5:30 to 6:45pm. Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite Church on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 7:00pm, with interment in the parish cemetery. In Alfred`s memory donations to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
