Patton, Marjorie Rose; With heavy hearts, love and treasured memories, the family of Marjorie Rose Patton, Bible Hill, announce her passing on Thursday, May 24, 2012. Born in Truro, she was the daughter of the late Forman and Evaline (Geddes) Frizzell. Marjorie spent her married life raising her children and working in the family business. She is survived by her husband Russell of 63 years; daughters, Audrey (Earle) Fisher, Jo-Anne (Greg) Williams, sons, Norman (Heather), Stephen (Heather), Gregory (Tanya), grandchildren, Neil (Moira), Nevin, Jeannie (Tim), James (Lisa), Crescent, Amanda, Brendan, Cameron, Carrie (Mark), Matt (Nancy), great grandchildren, Logan, Justice, Mason, Klara, Liam, Gaelan, Autumn, Emmett, Reid, Cameron, Max, Jack, Kalen, Kole, sister, Lillian Johnstone, niece, Beth Bevens, nephew, Scott Lundie. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by sisters, Bertha LeBlanc, Doris Work, Kaye Lundie, nephews, Jack Work, Eric Edwards, nieces, Brenda Johnstone, Audrey Work, and granddaughter Jay. She attended Truro Wesleyan Church for many years where she served as Sunday school teacher and superintendent and social committee chair. Her love of music was expressed through her service as pianist and choir member. She was a current adherent of St. James Presbyterian Church. Thank you to Dr. Blair, Dr. Perk and the nurses of 4th Floor of Colchester Regional Hospital for their care. Visitation to be held on Sunday, May 27th at the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service on Monday, May 28th, from St. James Presbyterian Church at 11am, Rev. Bud Fancy officiating. Interment to follow in the Bible Hill Cemetery. Family flowers only.
