It is with deep regret that the family is announcing the passing of Ernest Taylor, son of the late Howard and Ethel (Warr) Taylor. Born in Berwick, Nova Scotia, lived in Kentville, passed away May 18, 2012 at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, Ontario at the age of 85. Ernie was the beloved husband of Frances (nee Harvey) Taylor and the much loved father of Jim Taylor (Elaine) of Cambridge, Ontario and Ethel Simon (Reg) of Warren, Ontario. Ernie is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Jamie (Tracy), Tim (Tracy), Michelle (Adrian), Scott (Danielle), Greg, Lisa (Guy) and his many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The dear brother of Ronald Taylor (Mary) of Kentville, Nova Scotia and Marie Schnare of Cambridge, Ontario, he was predeceased by his siblings, Floyd Taylor, Norman Taylor, Earl Carey, Viola Rogers, Frances Swindell and Louva Kenneally. Ernie retired from Crowe Foundry, Cambridge, ON, with over 30 years of service. Funeral services were held at Smith's Funeral Home 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington on May 23.
