Kenny was born Aug. 2, 1960, in Sydney, C.B., and passed away Christmas Day 2009 in Saint John, N.B. He was the much loved and only son of Fred and Peggy (MacDonald) Bryden of Marion Bridge, C.B. Kenny was an excellent mechanic, had worked at several dealerships and at one time owned his own business. He could turn his hand to anything and would lend that hand to anyone that needed it. Kenny brought out the best in people with his kind and easygoing accepting manner.
He grew up in Dartmouth and attended Prince Andrew High School and Dartmouth Vocational School.
Besides his parents, Kenny is survived by his loving children, Matthew, Scott, Alex and Melanie; sisters, Karen Bryden Blom (Paul Blom) and Susan Bryden (Garnet Lowe); two nieces, Skye Bryden-Blom and Katie Bryden-Lowe and many other relatives and friends.
Kenny was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Frederick J. and Mary (Chaisson) Bryden, maternal grandparents, Kenneth J. and Evelyn (Micheau) MacDonald, uncle, Capt. James F. MacDonald and cousin Larry Pike.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 506-646-2424, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John, N.B. By request, there will be no visitation. A private memorial mass will take place at Blessed Pope John XXIII with Fr. Irek Bem officiating. Private family interment to take place in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
