It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ray on December 25th, 2009. He was born September 17th, 1924.

Ray is survived by his wife Helen Burness (Bernie) and two sons, Brian (Sue and Kelsey) and Trevor. Two granddaughters, Tanya (Jon) and Brittani. Also a great granddaughter Ysabella, two brothers, Stan in England and Murray (Fay) in Kamloops.

Ray was born in Renown, SK. and moved to Lumby, BC at the age of 13. He spent six years in the Army during World War II and in Korea with the United Nations Special Force. After he retired from the electrical trade, his time was spent painting and being at the Artist's Studio and Gallery, or out on the Golf Course.

There will be no service by his request.
