Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital, Brookfield on May 28, 2012, Major Douglas Burry age 74 years of Greenspond. Predeceased by his parents; Kenneth and Lucy Maud Burry, brother-in-law; Frederick Kelloway, nephew; Derrick Wayne Burry. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife; Lorraine (Randell) Burry, 1 son; Darryl (Kimberley), 2 daughters; Angela Tan (Mark), Julie Mcintyre (Craig), 7 granddaughters; Sydney Burry, Emily Tan, Breanna McIntyre, Kenya Burry, Peyton Burry, Alyssa McIntyre, Ella Lorraine Tan, 4 grandsons; Nicholas (Cole) Burry, Nathan Tan, Jeremy Tan, Cameron Tan, 2 sisters; Ellen Fillier (Rene), Louise Kelloway, 3 brothers; Eric Burry (Edith), Roland Burry (Sarah), Malcolm Burry (Betty), brother-in-law; Gordon Randell (Nancy) and a circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service was held June 1, 2012 at The Salvation Army Citadel, New-Wes-Valley with Lieutenants Brent & Melissa Haas officiating. Interment followed at The Interfaith Cemetery, Shambler’s Cove, Greenspond. Donations in his memory may be made to The Salvation Army Partners in Mission.
