COTTREAU, Peter Gordon – 61, Wedgeport, passed away May 30, 2012 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born June 17, 1950 in Wedgeport, he was a son of Jean Badden Perrie Cottreau and the late Austin Joseph Cottreau. Peter was a former Scallop Fisherman and he had a great interest in computers and Haskap Berry Plants. He is survived by his siblings, Anne Richard (Delbert), Arcadia; Michael Cottreau (Theresa), Brampton, ON; Barbara Hamilton (David), Lower Wedgeport; Christine Cottreau; Harbourside Lodge, Yarmouth; Peter’s extended family, Blanche, William, Gerard, Cindy, Colton, Adam, Nicholas and Corinne. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes Ltd., Wedgeport. Visitation was held from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home in Wedgeport. A funeral mass was held Friday at 11 a.m. at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Msgr. Gerald LeBlanc officiated. Internment followed in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only.
