It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frank Matchem announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday December 28, 2009 at the age of 50 years. He leaves to mourn his wife Deborah of 30 years, three sons; Frank (Kayla) of Corner Brook, Mark (Raelyn) of Calgary and Jason of Corner Brook, two grandchildren; Frank and Destiny, father; Frank (Cynthia) of Victoria BC, mother; Shirley Hulan (Duncan Kippen) of Alberta, two sisters Valda Matchem of BC, Adora Vaal-Henke of BC, brother; Wilfred Matchem of Alberta, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Wednesday December 30, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel 167 Country Road on Thursday December 31, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Major Frank Johnson officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA.
