Tamela “Tami” M. Patterson
Tamela “Tami” M. Patterson, age 48, of Port Elgin, passed away peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre in Halifax surrounded by the comfort of her family on Sunday, December 20, 2009.
Tami was known for Angels, Butterflies, Teddy Bears and great peanut brittle. She adored her family, especially her three boys, her mom and her cat Bella. She had a special place in her heart for her new granddaughter Breanna. She loved to shop and to laugh. Lobster was always #1 on her menu, any meal of the day. Tami had a huge heart for giving.
She will be deeply missed by her mom Ruby Ceretti, Port Elgin, with whom she always held a very close bond; her three boys, Corey (Kathleen) Legere and their daughter Breanna of Edmonton, AB, John Duguay, Port Elgin, and Blair (Fiancee Marie) Duguay, Moncton; cat Bella; sisters, Catherine Ceretti, Malden, Virginia (Clifford) Trenholm, Bayfield, Suzanne (Ronald) Jones, Port Elgin, Bonnie (Stephan) Becker, Mates Corner; brothers, Kevin (Linda) Ceretti, Sackville, Keith (Rose) Ceretti, Baie Verte, Donald (Cindy Blacklock) Ceretti, Sackville, Carroll (Nicole) MacDonald, Barachois; sister-in-law Ann Ceretti, St. Marie-de-Kent; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and all her friends.
She was predeceased by brothers Richard and Wayne Ceretti.
Cremation has taken place under the care and supervision of the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin, N.B. (506-538-2241), from where visiting hours were held on Monday, December 28, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service was held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 11 a.m., William Drysdale, DLM, and Rev. Jim Shaffner officiating.
