Suddenly at home on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, of Ruth E. Jackson of South Dr., St. Eleanors, aged 68 years. Born in St. Eleanors April 4, 1944, daughter of the late Roy and Mabel (MacArthur) Tanton. Wife of the late Bernard Jackson. Ruth is survived by son Kevin (Maria) and grandson Kristopher (Jill) of Surrey, B.C. Sister-in-law of Ann Tanton and Arch MacLeod. Also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Ruth was predeceased her brother Albert Tanton and sisters Anzonetta Hately, Janet Quillen and Elaine MacLeod. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Tuesday June 5 from 7-9 p.m. A private family committal service will be held in St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery, St. Eleanors. If so desired contributions may be made to St. Eleanors Anglican Church Cemetery Fund or the P.E.I. Humane Society.
