Passed away suddenly but peacefully on December 27, 2009, of Carbonear and St. John's in her 42nd year. Sandra leaves to mourn her loving husband Kenneth Hollett and her two dear children: Henry and Amelia Hollett; mother Grace Tilley (the late Rupert Roy Tilley, 1969); sisters: Marion (Harold McCausland), Joy (Martin Sevigny); Parents-in-law Harold and Grace Hollett; sisters-in-law: Valerie (Joel Fish); Diane (Sean Tiller), brothers-in-law: Peter Hollett (Glenda O'Reilly) and Phillip Hollett (Elizabeth Whelan), Aunt Ida Mullett and cousins: Suzanne (Bob Dicks), Denise (Steve Bonnell), and Cheryl (Stewart Ogilvy); Uncle Nat Mullett; Nephews and nieces: Chloe and Charlotte Sevigny, Jessica, Ruth, Isaac and Elliot Fish, Eli and Josie Tiller, Abby, Maggie and Sophie Hollett, and Malcolm, Camilla and Cecilia Hollett, and a wide circle of friends and her colleagues. Sandra was predeceased by her much loved Gram Eliza Richard (nee Dawe) in 1987. Sandra graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University and a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School. She practiced law with O’Dea Earle before joining Bell Aliant. She was a loving mother who took joy and pleasure in nurturing her children’s growth and happiness. Sandra will be sadly and desperately missed. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place from St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Logy Bay Road on Thursday, December 31st at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sandra’s memory to St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear or to Shalloway Children’s Choir, St. John’s.
