Peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Friday June 1, 2012 of Earl Thomas Brennan of the Tignish Seniors Co-op Home, age 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (nee LeClair) Brennan, who predeceased him in April 2004. Born at Harper Road, P.E.I., on Sept. 18,1921 he was the son of the late Thomas and Lottie (nee McInnis) Brennan. He is survived by his stepchildren Ernest (Cindy) of Tignish; Eva (Calvin) of Bloomfield; Angela (Paul) of Charlottetown; Peggy (Russell) of Piusville; Shirley (Bill) of NFLD; Marie (late Brian) of Charlottetown; Victor (Nora) of Toronto; Noreen (late Eddie) of Nfld.; Milda (LeRoy) of Summerside; Eunice (Freddie) Sea Cow Pond; Delima (late Elmer) of Ontario; Brother to John (Late Martina) of Blacks Harbour N.B.; Gerald (Clare) of Fredericton N.B.; Ida Murray of Kingston, Ont. He is also survived by his many step grandchildren & step great grandchildren, nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Alonzo and Walter, and by sisters Beryl, Helen and Thelma.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton. Funeral on Monday June 4, from St. Simon and St. Judes Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 3 pm. Rev. Brendon Gallant, celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday from 6 to 9 pm and on Monday from 1 pm until time of funeral.
