Passed peacefully away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the Health Sciences Centre, Elsie Harding (Sheppard) aged 77 years. Predeceased by her husband Arthur; grandson: Eric Harding; brothers: Herb & Fred Sheppard. Leaving to mourn her daughters: Jackie Clarke and Rhonda Harding; sons: Patrick and Shawn; eight grandchildren: Trevor, Bradley, Melissa, Jessica, Megan, Ashley, Katelyn and Theresa; also great-grandchildren; special friend Marilyn Mercer as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. Rested at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Cremation to follow. Funeral service took place on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road.
