August 9, 1923 – June 3, 2012. Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, June 3, 2012, Rosanna Cooper of Green’s Harbour, aged 88 years. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence, daughter Vivian, parents; George and Sarah Elizabeth Harnum, sisters: Ivy, Bessie and Esther. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life with thanksgiving are her children: Judy Sweetapple (Sidney), Leon (Judy), Viola Petten (Derrick), Clyde (Carol Ann), Marilyn Shapleigh (Frank), Wade (Susan), Verna Clarke (Walter), and Lawrence (Luna); 19 grandchildren: Lori, Jill, Jennifer, Melissa, Mark, Marilyn, Michael, Matthew, Karen, Janet, Paula, Frank, Trevor, Gregory, Stephen, Heather, Susan, Stanley and Nicholas; 14 great-grandchildren: Seamus, Patrick, Gale, Tristan P, Kyle, Sydney, Zachary, Kyla, Tristan K, Brier, Robyn, Mackenzie, Maya and Brady; as well as other extended family and friends, including the residents and staff of Honeysuckle Estates. The family extends thanks to the staff of the 7th floor at the Carbonear General Hospital. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Tuesday, June 5th 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel, Green’s Harbour Corps on Thursday, June 7th at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery.
