Passed away suddenly June 2, 2012, Elwood J. Reid, aged 62 years. Predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Winnie Reid; sister, Effie Bursey; and sister-in-law, Gwen Henstridge. Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 39 years Joy; children: Angela Wood (Jason), Michael, Robert and Tracey Fudge; two darling grandchildren: Jacob and Emma Wood; special niece Christine Riggs (Keith) and their children, Tyler, Cody and Hannah; siblings: Eileen Jacques (Florent, deceased), Beverley Sooley (Morley), Doug (Bess) and Cyril (Evelyn); mother-in-law Neta (Roland, deceased); brothers-in-law: Max Bursey (Beverley), Ford Fudge (Ida), Melvin Fudge (Geraldine), Calvin Fudge (Loretta), Laurence Fudge (Maunda), Allister Fudge (Sandra); and sister-in-law, Connie Bown (David); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many close friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel, Adams Avenue, Thursday June 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Elwood’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Salvation Army Citadel.
