58 yrs. of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012, at home surrounded by her family. Born in St. John’s, NL, she was a daughter of the late John and Annie (Martin) Oliver. Andrea was employed with the Canex, 14 Wing Greenwood for 16 years and was an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Kingston Branch No. 98 for 10 years, where she was the recipient of the Doucette Award for 2011. She enjoyed playing darts, cross stitch and loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Donald; daughters: Tanya (John) Majensky, Moncton, NB and Brenda Russell (Ben Shirlaw), Courtney, BC; sister, Mary Hanlon, St. John’s, NL; brothers: Dan (Jean) Oliver, Bill (Betty) Oliver, Jim (Margaret) Oliver, Kevin (Janyce) Oliver, Ron (Susan) Oliver, Gary Oliver, Karol Oliver, Eugene (Stephanie) Oliver, all of St. John’s, NL; grandchildren: Marshall, Johnny, Nicholas, Emma and Maxwell and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers John, Raymond and Louis. By Andrea’s request, cremation has taken place. A legion tribute service and reception will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012 in the Kingston Branch No. 98, Royal Canadian Legion. Interment will be in the St. Lawrence Cemetery, Kingston.
