Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family, following a brief illness, at Health Science Complex (ICU), on June 3, 2012, Robert Tobin of Gaskiers, S.M.B., aged 75 years. Predeceased by parents Walter and Loretta Tobin, parents-in-law Ernest and Isabelle Williams, brothers-in-law: Edmund Williams and Adrian Sullivan: sisters-in-law: Bridget Tobin and Angela Tobin, granddaughter Stephanie Kelly and nephews: A.J. Sullivan and Walter Halleran. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 46 years, Elizabeth; children: Cindy (Barry) Gibbons, Susan (Michael) Cahill, Bernice (Ken) Sutton, Randy (Renee) and Robert (Tina); his most cherished grandchildren: Mitchell & Nathan Gibbons, Kaitlyn & Michael Cahill, Kendra & Evan Sutton and Tyler, Brandon, Justin & Jenna Tobin; brothers: Ferg (Uriel), Nick (Rosemary), Walter (Lorraine), Jerry (Gert), Leslie (Jessie) and Bruce (Noelle); sisters: Ruth Whelan (Willie), Joan, Helen Sullivan and Jenny (Pat) Kennedy; special niece Joanne Halleran; uncle Mike Critch; brothers-in-law: Bren (Mercedes) Tobin, Lloyd (Noreen) Williams and John Williams (Linda) and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, on Tuesday, June 5, from 7 - 9 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 12 - 9 p.m. and Thursday, June 7, beginning at 12 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, at 2 p.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary’s.
