Suddenly at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, June 4, 2012, of Roy Joseph Perry, beloved husband to Freda (nee Gaudet) Perry, age 63 years.
Born on December 19, 1948, he was the son of the late Alfred and Evelyn (nee DesRoches) Perry. Loving father to Jennifer (John) MacKinnon of Fredericton, P.E.I.; Crissy (Scott) Ellis of Tyne Valley; Troy (Andrea) Perry of Saint John, N.B. Cherished grandfather to Perry (Bubbles). Dear brother to Leah (Jerry) Kinch of St. Felix and Lorna (Trevor) Yuill of St. Peter and St. Paul. Special uncle to Jody Perry. He is also survived by his brother and sisters-in-law, Darlene Perry of St. Felix; Marie MacDonald of Toronto; Francis Gaudet of Charlottetown; Louise (Bob) Scrimgeour of Montreal; Kaye Roselund of Sarnia, Ont.; Lorne (Beth) Gaudet of Charlottetown; Don Theriault of Tignish; Diane Sequin of Montreal. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother, Leonard and by his nephew, Jordon Perry.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 1:30 p.m. until time of funeral. Funeral Friday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mas at 4 p.m. Rev. Brendon Gallant celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery.
