It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen Heather MacNeil, 61, who passed away June 5, 2012, at the Victoria County Memorial Hospital.
Born in Baddeck, she was the youngest daughter of the late Hugh and Dolly (Ratchford) MacNeil. She was a former member of the Canadian Women’s Army Corps and Catholic Women’s League. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Collin (Michelle) and Christian (Selena) and her grandchildren, Randy and Shaylyne.
She was predeceased by her sister, Hughena MacNeil of Jamesville.
As per family’s request, no funeral will be held and interment to be held at a later date.
Donations in her honour can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Liver Foundation.
