
Jean-Eudes "John" Maillet
MAILLET, JEAN-EUDES “JOHN” - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, Jean-Eudes “John” Maillet, of Moncton, on Wednesday June 6, 2012, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born on September 10, 1945 in Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, NB, Jean-Eudes was the son of the late Clorice and Imelda (Maillet) Maillet. Before his retirement, John worked with the Department of Transportation for 35 years. He was a member of the St-Alphonse de Ligouri #11985 Knights of Columbus and a former band member as a singer with “The Spades”. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Dorine (Poirier), two daughters: Lyne (Gérard Mcken) and Carole (Aaron Roberts), both of Moncton; four sisters: Annette Wortman (Neil) of Shemogue, Clarice Thibault (Robert) of Moncton, Diane Roy (Pierre) of Charlesbourg, QC and Danielle Boudreau (Michel) of Dieppe; four grandchildren: Hazel, Phoenix, Maxime and Nicholas, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Dorine.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ-Roi R.C. Church, 300 Dominion St., Moncton, on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
