Norah Dorothy Collier Norah passed away peacefully on January 2, 2008. Norah started her life on a homestead near Coronation, Alberta on October 6, 1917. Her parents, Dorothy and Howard Rice Jones, were both recent immigrants from England who had come to Canada to start a new life. Unfortunately, Howard died during the 1918 flu pandemic. Dorothy then decided to move the family to Victoria where she raised the four children; older brothers Ralph and Geoff, and younger sister Marjorie.
