Lieu de décès : Colombie Britannique, Canada

In Loving Memory of Jack Arnold (November 15, 1921 - February 24, 2008) It is in the spirit of my love for him that I announce the passing of my beloved father, Jack Arnold on February 24, 2008 at Victoria Hospital, London, Ontario at the age of 86 years. Jack was predeceased by his parents, George and Kit Arnold; his brothers George and Bob Arnold; his sister Joan Ventin; his son Robert Ian Arnold; his step-grandson, Bart and his wives Florence (nee Kennedy) and Kathleen (nee McDougal). He leaves behind his loving wife Myra of London; his devoted sister Mary Moore of Dorchester. Additionally, he is survived by his daughters Argena (Bonnie) Berne of Stelle, Illinois; Lynn Johnson of Dawson Creek, BC; Kathleen Hamill of Ft. Fraser, BC and his step-daughter Beth Boris as well as ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Clearly, Jack emerged as a self-made man who lived an extraordinary life. Valued for the insights and optimism he shared with others, he was distinguished by his particular focus on self-discipline, love, freedom and trust. Characterized by his use of reason and creative innovation throughout his many careers, he was held in respect by many, especially in business matters. Jack served in his youth as a member of the Royal Scottish Regiment in WWII (1940-1945). During the past six years, he lived in Parkwood Hospital, London until his death on Sunday last. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Church of the Good Shepherd at Parkwood Hospital to acknowledge the deep sadness and heartfelt loss of his presence in our lives. Expressions of sympathy may be made at that time.
