EFFORD, Dale – February 23, 1945 - June 7, 2012. Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Thursday, June 7, 2012, Mr. Alvin Dale Efford of Makinsons, aged 67 years. Predeceased by his daughter, Gail Denise on February 6, 1981 and his father George Efford on December 25, 1996. Leaving to mourn his wife Rita Efford (nee Anthony); mother Isabella Efford Rideout; sons: Dale (Bonnie) Efford, Dean (Wanda) Efford, Dr. Jason (Kimberly) Efford and their son Luke; sisters: Audrey (Ed) Hayes, Beverly (John) Holmes; brothers: Wayne (Carol) Efford, Eric (Rose) Efford, George (Kathy) Efford. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Clarke’s Beach. Visitation: Saturday 10 -12 noon, 2 - 5 p.m., 6:30 - 9 p.m., Sunday 10 - 1 p.m. Prayer vigil will be held on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 2:30 p.m., from the Anglican Parish of the Resurrection, South River, with interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Makinsons.
