FAGAN, Kevin — Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, June 8th, 2012. Kevin “Fox” Fagan was surrounded by the great love of his family. Predeceased by his brother Pat and Sisters in law, Sandra and Trudy Fagan. Leaving to mourn, his wife Debbie; his much loved sons, Cory (Joanne) Fagan, Shaun (Allison) Fagan; Step-sons Chris (Kelly) Whitty, Mark (Nicole) Whitty and David Whitty; his beloved grandchildren, Ella and Liam Fagan; Landon and Bradley Whitty. Brothers, Gerry (Gertrude), Don (Judy), Bill, Agnus (Monique), Bas (Linda), Ray (Goldie); sisters, Jane (Ed) Doucette, Maureen, Mary (George) Cormick and Terry Mercer. Numerous nieces and nephews especially nephew and close friend Paul (Trudy) Fagan. Father and mother-in-law, Leo and Cynthia Murphy; brothers-in-law, Paul (Marilyn) Murphy, Barry (Joss) Murphy, Doug (Laurie) Murphy; sisters-in-law, Ann (Ed) Williams and Cindy Murphy. Kevin “Fox” was a sports enthusiast and spent most of his adult life involved with coaching and volunteering in the hockey and baseball communities. He dedicated a lot of time to the Celtics Minor Hockey Association and coached the Flatrock Flyers senior hockey team for a number of seasons successfully winning three Herder Memorial Trophies. He will be remembered fondly and with much humor by a large circle of friends and very special pet, Sophie. A special thank you to the staff of 4 North A, your dedication and compassion is amazing. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place from St. Teresa’s Church at 9:30 on Monday, June 11th, 2012 with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation will be gratefully accepted.
