DUPLESSIS, RHÉAL - 1959 - 2012 - Rhéal Duplessis, 53, of Moncton and formerly of Bouctouche, passed away at the Dr Georges L Dumont University Center Hospital on Saturday June 9, 2012, after a brief illness. Born in Bouctouche on February 17, 1959 he was the son of Réginald Vautour and Viola Duplessis. Rhéal worked as a chef in the restaurant industry. He will be sadly missed by his parents, his step-father Edward Hicks, his two sons: Joey (Chantal) of Moncton and Jeremy of Halifax, his four grandchildren Maxime, Annika, Bailey and Scarlet, his sister Vicky Maillet (Steven) of Bouctouche, his two brothers: Bobby Hicks (Elizabeth) and Jean-Claude Caissie, both of Bouctouche, and several nephews. Rhéal was predeceased by a sister Verena.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l`église, Bouctouche, on Monday, June 11th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9pm, and on Tuesday from 2 to 3:45pm. Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church in Bouctouche on Tuesday, June 12th, 2012 at 4:00pm, with interment in the parish cemetery.
