ROBICHAUD, OMER - 1923 - 2012 - Omer Robichaud, 88, of Foyer Cote D’ Or, Cocagne passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges L-Dumont University Center Hospital on Sunday, June 10th, 2012. He was married to the late Hectorine (Léger) Robichaud (1992). Born In Cocagne on September 21, 1923, he was the son of the late Placide and the late Marie (Cormier) Robichaud. Omer was a farmer, well known for his egg production. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Francine Robichaud of Shediac, his son Léonard (Jacinthe) of Cocagne and his grandson Jean-Francois (Kathleen). Omer was predeceased by two sisters Auréa and Fernande.
Visitations will be held in the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room in Cocagne on Tuesday, June 12th, 2012 from 7 to 9pm and on Wednesday from 2 to 3:45pm. Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Pierre Church in Cocagne on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 4:00pm, with interment in the parish cemetery. In memory of Omer donations to the Parish of Cocagne or to the Dr Georges L Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
