LONG, DORIS - The death of Doris Vivian Langin (Stilwell) Long of Minto occurred Monday, June 11th, 2012 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. Born in Chipman, NB, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Susan (Grandville) Stilwell. Doris is survived by sons Larry Langin of Minto and Charles Langin of Whur’s Beach; daughters Debbie Thurrott of Minto, Donna Langin Bridges (Blaine) of Indian Lake, and Pam Casey (Brian Fowler) of Cambridge Narrows; a sister Anna Nitz (Ted) of Geary; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Doris was predeceased by her first husband Morris Langin; her second husband Raymond Long; brothers Hazen Stilwell, Arthur Stilwell, Orville Stilwell and Stephen Stilwell; sisters Greta West, Pauline Williams, Donna Bishop and Susan Fudge; grandson Michael Langin; great granddaughter Megan; three infant children; daughters-in-law Marie Langin and Wanda Langin.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services, Minto Community Chapel (10 King Street, Minto) with visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM and from where a Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM, Wednesday, June 13th, 2012. Interment will follow in the United Baptist Cemetery in Minto. For those who wish, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Society or the charity of one’s choice, would be appreciated by the family.
