Pipes, A. Bruce - 60, Northport, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012, at the North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash. Born in Pugwash, he was a son of the late Melvin and Helen (Pipes) Cail. Bruce had enjoyed working as a truck driver for most of his adult life. Surviving are his son, Paul (Gloria) Pipes, Calgary; daughter, April (Lenny) Patterson, Calgary; grandchildren, Jessica DeRaaf, Jaimee DeRaaf, Samantha Pipes, Bruce Bond, Nicole Bond, Tunisja Patterson; sisters, Donna Cail (Doug Whitford), Malagash; Ruth (Wade) Pipes, Amherst; Edith Cail, Amherst; brothers, Darrell (Shirley) Cail, Northport; Earl (Denise) Cail, Amherst; Darren (Denise) Cail, Northport; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Goldie (Allen) Pipes; daughter Teresa Pipes. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, at Mundle’s Funeral Home, 204 Water St., Pugwash (243-2506). Pastor Ruth Gamble officiating.
