Passed peacefully away at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, surrounded by her loving family, age 78 years. Loved by so many people and known as “MOM” “NAN” or “Mrs. Fish” to the lives that she touched. Predeceased by parents: father William Galway, mother Bridgette McCarthy, husband Bernard, sons: Walter and John, brothers: William and Andrew, sisters Annie and Loretta. Left with fond and loving memories son Terry (Rose); daughter Geraldine (Mark Brewer); grandchildren: Ashley (Colin), Terri-lynn (Darryl), Terry (Megan), Kirstie; great-grandchild Makenna; also brothers: Gerald and Kevin; sisters: Mary and Bride; as well a large circle of relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island for all their consideration and help. Resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Bell Island on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 12 noon to 9 p.m. Funeral Service on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 2 p.m. from St. Michael’s Church with Cremation to follow.
