Passed peacefully away at her late residence, Port-de-Grave, on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, Mrs. Daisy Bussey (nee Batten) of Port-de-Grave, aged 95 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Annie Batten (nee Hierlihy); granddaughter: Sharon; sisters: Annie, Hettie; brothers: William, Robert, Rollis, John, Joseph; sons-in-law: Harvey Morgan and Garland Clarke. Leaving to mourn daughters: Mabel (Calvin) Stowe, Enyd Morgan, Joyce Clarke, Bonnie (Roy) Burton; sons: David Bussey (Fran), Lloyd (Linda) Bussey, Harry (Sophie) Bussey, Frank (Betty) Bussey, Boyd (Mary) Bussey, Kevin (Pat) Bussey; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. Resting at Moore's Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation: Thursday: 3 - 5 p.m., 7 - 9 p.m.; Friday: 10 - 12, Noon, 2 - 5 p.m., 7 - 9 p.m.; Saturday: 10 - 12 Noon. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from The United Church, Clarke's Beach, with interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery.
