ARCHIE BROWN 1921 ~ 2008 It is with great sadness that we lay our friend, husband, father, grandfather, uncle to rest. Archie Brown passed away at the age of 86 at the Royal Inland Hospital on Sunday, March 23, 2008. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jean; his daughter Heather (Wayne), grandson Eddie, nieces Norine, Maxine, Betty, Judy, and Pat, and nephews Doug and Bob. He was predeceased by his son Carey (1993), brothers William and Harry, and sisters Mabel, Bertha and Pearl. Archie came to Vancouver in 1949, spent time in the Yukon and then settled in Prince George to have a family. He was transferred to Kamloops in 1964 to work as a stationary engineer at Central Heating and then to the Tranquille Power Plant. He lived in the area (including Chase) until now. He had a heart of gold and gave of it so generously to everyone. Every stranger he met on his daily walks received his cheerful "Good Morning!" The Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 28, 2008 at the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Drive.
