Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on February 22, 2008, Bernard Walbourne, age 58 years, formerly of Fogo, Fogo Island. Predeceased by mother Margaret; father Raymond; nephew Colin. Leaving to mourn his wife Netta; sons: Blaine (Sonya) and Jamie (Amanda), all of Grand Prairie, AB; daughters: Helen (Toby Sheppard) and Joanne (Dean Oake), all of Gander, N.L.; sister, Theresa (Glenn White); brothers: Donald (Marilyn) and Edmund (Rita); five grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. The funeral service was held from Our Lady of the Snow Church, Fogo, Fogo Island on February 25, 2008. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fogo Island Funeral Home.
