Passed away at Saint Luke’s Home on Saturday, June 16, 2012, Allison Isabelle Peckford (nee Young), age 96 years. Predeceased by her husband Ewart Peckford, 1992. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Brenda Walsh (Ed); sons: Bruce (Shirley), Brian (Carol), Sidney (Helen), Larry (Dianne) and Ian; sisters: Cynthia Mitchell, Grace Stapleton (Al) and Roberta Bugden; a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thank you to the staff of Saint Luke’s Home for their excellent care and compassion. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and then on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at The General Protestant Cemetery, Waterford Bridge Road.
