DOUGLAS LOVE 1927 ~ 2008 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas Love on April 3, 2008, at the age of 81, after a short hospital stay. He was predeceased by his wife Rita on October 10, 2007. Doug is survived by his three children, Kim and David of Calgary and Steve (Tami) of Kamloops, and his three grandchildren. Dad was born in Tuckersmith, Huron Co., Ontario on January 16, 1927. He spent much of his life in the Canadian Forces, serving overseas in Germany and Cypress. Dad transferred to Kamloops in 1975 and served at CFS Mt. Lolo until his retirement in 1977. He operated his own truck catering business for several years in the 1980's before taking permanent retirement. A Celebration of Dad's life will take place on Friday, April 11, 2008 between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. at 237 Fairview Avenue, Kamloops.
