
Rhoda Inch
INCH, RHODA GENEVIEVE - Rhoda Inch of Gagetown, NB went to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 19th, 2012 at her residence. Born January 18th, 1926 in Hamstead, NB. She was the daughter of the late Percy and Grace (Short) Inch. Rhoda began her career as a teacher, graduating from Normal School in 1944 before attending Atlantic Bible Institute in Hampton, NB from 1950 - 1954. In 1954, Rhoda's first missionary trip was to the Philippines with Overseas Missionary Fellowship where she worked for 33 years. Since Rhoda's retirement, she had developed many great friends and relationships especially with the members of Oromocto First Nations and the Filipino Community which she cherished until she passed. Rhoda is survived by her friend, Hanna Handojo; one brother, Eric Inch; her niece, Marilyn Hebb; her nephews, Larry Inch and David Inch and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Spencer and her sister, Enid.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Saturday, June 23rd, 2012 and Sunday, June 24th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, June 25th, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Aubrey Trail, Rev. Jim Lewis and Rev. Rob Flanagan taking part. Interment will be in the New Jerusalem Cemetery the following day.
