LONG, MICHAEL ANTHONY - The unexpected passing of Mike Long of Saint John, NB, occurred on Monday, June 18, 2012 at his residence. Born in Saint John on July 13, 1970, he was a son of Elbert and Evelyn (Connelly) Long. Michael loved children and making crafts, and he lived his life with a smile on his face. Mike is survived by his parents; one niece, Shyann; one nephew, Brandon; one great-niece, Aleia; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Lorine Long, in 2009; and grandparents Marjori and Elbert Long, and Ann McGaughy and Frank Connelly.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Pius X Church, 316 Somerset Street, on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 10:00am. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
